This category is for in-game characters, those Non-Player Characters ("NPC") that appear in an MMO game.
These could be iconic figures, mission contacts, vendors, ordinary citizens, opponents, or any other character that was created by the developers as part of the MMO itself. (Note: This does not include characters created by players, even if those characters are considered "non-player".)
Those entries that qualify for this category should be given the {{NPC}} template.
