Doctor Thadeus Aeon is the chief scientist for Arachnos in the City of Heroes MMO. Officially he serves as the CEO of Aeon Corp as well as the governor of Cap au Diable. He is also one of the principal founders and inventors of Architect Entertainment, a key member of the Rogue Isles Infrastructure, and it is rumored to be a member of the Bilderburg Alliance.
It is said that once upon a time, he was a noted and respectable scientist who did something wrong and ended up in prison. Eventually he was brought over to the Rogue Isles, where his genius mind was put to use for Arachnos.
However, his experiments went horribly wrong, causing terrible monsters to come through extradimensional portals. These monsters caused the death of dozens of people, including the governor of Cap au Diable at the time. Lord Recluse was so outranged at this that he ordered a strike team over there to find the good doctor and execute him. This was carried out live on WSPR TV.
Not long afterward, though, Dr. Aeon made his first public appearance in the Isles and was named by Recluse as the new governor of the area. Aeon went right to work coming up with new ways to turn the area into a new center for technological progress. This included his highly-successful Power Transference System, which provides free power for all areas of the Isles, and the invention of NutriPaste, which resolved the food shortage thanks to international trade embargos.
His most recent success was his work with Architect Entertainment, which he was able to mass-distribute in buildings all over the Isles and Paragon City with the help of Countess Crey and Alex Wentworth. He serves as one of the three principal owners of the highly-successful business, which gives him the rare legal right to travel in and out of the United States.
Powers and Abilities
Dr. Aeon's chief power is his intelligence, which is almost at hyper-intelligent levels.
But when brains are not enough, Aeon relies on his power armor. His high-tech battle armor allows him to withstand extensive abuse and dish it out in kind, as well as summon drones of his own creation. This includes advanced clones of himself that can do all the fighting for him.
Aeon has a somewhat fragile psyche, and can be easily annoyed.
