NovaPrima is a character in the City of Heroes MMO. She is a registered hero working for the Rocinante Group.

Florina Primo was an unashamed prima donna. She demanded the best at her supervisory job in Portal Corporation and got nothing but the best from her underlings.
Then one day in 1989, Portal Corporation was invaded by Reichsman and his forces. They began executing anyone and everyone not connected with transdimensional portal technology, which also included her department. Flo survived the assault only because she took a chance and injected herself with an experimental serum that her department was testing from another dimension. She discovered that the serum allowed her to survive being shot point-blank multiple times, regenerate her destroyed tissue, and then gave her superpowers.
With the city still in chaos, Flo took it upon herself to join in the battle against the Axis American Army. She earned the attention and respect of both Statesman and Galaxy Girl, who took the new hero under her wing and gave her the codename NovaPrima.
NovaPrima was one of the "new" heroes of the 90's, and it was believed that she would one day join the Freedom Phalanx, the city's premiere superhero team.
Then came the Rikti Invasion of 2002...
NovaPrima was on the front lines of the attack in Baumton when the Rikti detonated a Neutron bomb atop the secret headquarters of the Midnight Squad. She survived the attack, but she was in a heavy comatose state.
She would awaken years later to a world completely changed because of the Rikti. Her mentor, Galaxy Girl, was dead. Most of the heroes she knew were dead. Baumton was a wasteland now called "Boomtown".
She was presented an opportunity by Lord Lee Geddy of the Rocinante Group, an intelligence think-tank that recently moved operations to Paragon City and was taking up one corner of another "hazard zone", Perez Park. Flo was hired as the organization's "House Hero"; someone who would step in and help the Rocinante Group when challenged by gangs or Hydra monsters.
She did not know it at the time, but she unwillingly became part of the clandestine organization known as Shadowborn.
In the years that followed, her role as "House Hero" changed to more of a security consulting role. She would be the "public face" of an intelligence group that needed to stay in the shadows.
Powers and Abilities
NovaPrima's primary ability is Invulnerability. She can endure a lot of punishment.
Her secondary ability is Super Strength. She can lift a lot.
She can also fly.
Personality
NovaPrima was originally very abrasive and demanding. However she learned humility during her time training with Galaxy Girl. After awakening from her coma, she learned to be very protective of those around her.
She developed a friendship with Doc Tor and some respect for Icon Powers. She has no respect whatsoever for Leona Powers, which was evidenced by her willingness to disobey orders to get a modicum of payback in "Guardians of the Dawn Spotlight" #25.
