Dr. Shelly Percey
Doctor Shelly Percey is an in-game character and contact in Cap au Diable. She can be seen outside of the Blackheart Hospital in the Haven district.
Character History
Shelly Percey left medical school in disgrace during her third year, when one of her professors found her performing unethical experiments on an injured hero. Since her fall from grace, Shelly's kept herself busy providing medical services to the less scrupulous metahumans to be found by the dozen in the Rogue Isles, where she was able to complete her studies. She doesn't stoop to treating those without super powers, and she's become quite an expert in her somewhat rarefied field. She owes her mastery of the metahuman physique to her insatiable curiosity, which has gotten her into trouble more than a few times.
Of late she has been spending her time with the freelance operative known as John Cole. She has been intrigued by his physical abilities, which somehow exceed the normal talents of an Arachnos operative, although she has also found herself being attracted to him in more ways than just medical curiosity.
According to Cole, Shelly's true beauty is one of the three "hidden wonders" of the Rogue Isles.
Relationships
Shelly has been in a personal relationship with Cole for several years, although she claims it's for "professional curiosity". She also exhibits profound jealousy toward the female members of The Libra Order, since she fears they would try to seduce Cole from her. She also has an ongoing hatred of Crystal Burke, the sister of Matthew Burke, who was Cole's first girlfriend from their younger years, and still believes is a threat to their relationship.
