This character is a member of the Guardians of the Dawn.

Rocky Rockrocker was a short-lived member of the Guardians of the Dawn superhero group in the now-defunct City of Heroes MMO.

Character History

Rocky Rockrocker grew up in the ruins of what was once Eastgate, now known as The Hollows.

As a child, he drank waters infested with runoff from an illegal Superadine lab. This gave him powers over the earth itself. He could move and control rock, even using them as transportation. He could even use nutrients in the dirt as food. Unfortunately it also mutated his appearance into a stone creature and slowed his movements.

He spent his late teen years helping those humans that were foolish enough to wander into the area. He wasn't fast, but he was effective.

He had just turned 18 when he heard that the Guardians of the Dawn were holding auditions. His friends in the area suggested he audition for them as it would give him recognition and a way to see the city through their teleportation system.

It took him two days to Atlas Park, and when he did, the auditions were almost over. Thankfully he made an impression with Whyspera. On his way back, he heard an alert in a nearby building. He took the opportunity to investigate and discovered a team of Arachnos agents led by Misty Mysery. With Whyspera soon joining in, the two managed to overpower the Arachnos agents.

Soon afterward, Rocky Rockrocker was an official member of the Guardians of the Dawn.

Death

Unfortunately, Rocky's hero career was short.

In 2011, Galaxy City was devastated by neo-Shivan meteors. Rocky was in Galaxy City to see the area. When the meteors came down, he led survivors to a nearby tunnel at the outskirts of the city. When the ceiling started to buckle from the shockwaves, he used his own body to create a shelter for a few humans. The impact of a nearby meteor killed Rocky and the humans he was protecting.

His body would later be found by Jimmy Hellfighter. He was given a hero's funeral.

Powers and Abilities

Rocky's primary power was Stone Armor. He could use rocks as a form of defense. He could also use the earth itself for nutrients.

His secondary power was Stone Melee. He could use rocks as weapons. This included creating stone hammers.

Because of his physical form, he was incredibly slow. It would take him a long time to get across from one area to another.
