Quinn Tor is a character set in the world of the City of Heroes MMO.

Originally referred to by Gill Gamma as "Tor" and later introducing himself to Galatea Powers as "Quinn", this character is as much a man of mystery as any other multiverse traveler.

Character History

Dead Earth

Quinn first appeared in what Galatea Powers first believed was a dead future where the super-powered villain Destitution had won and the Earth was dead of all life. When Galatea first questioned Gill Gamma's assertion that she could never go back to her "time", she realized that she was really in an alternate universe.

During that time, she was given a "hint" from a mysterious figure in black, showing her the way home. After she left, he encountered Gill Gamma, who referred to him as "Tor" and promised that neither he nor the Council of Light would figure out what the "grand plan" is.

"Icarus"

Following the solar storm that threatened to end all life on Earth, Galatea was able to rescue all of the injured Kheldians on one of the surviving orbital defense platforms, but was then overwhelmed by cosmic energy.

During this time, she was approached again by the mysterious figure, who called himself "Quinn". Although he never admitted it, it was implied that he was a Utopian like Gill Gamma and Doc Tor. Quinn told Galatea that what she was experiencing was the beginning of her transformation into an incarnate, and that this transformation makes her a threat to other beings, including deities like Rularuu.
