Gloria was always fascinated by three things: red carpets, runways, and limelight. Growing up in a small town in New Mexico, the world of entertainment was a whole universe away as far as she was concerned, but that didn't stop her from trying. She performed in local plays, often taking minor roles and then aiding with costume and set design.
She attended community college where she got her Associates in English. Then she began interning at the nearby television station. This led to a short-lived stint as a weekend reporter.
Her big break came when WCOC in Millennium City offered her a position as their entertainment reporter, replacing the elder reporter Mary Mistletoe after her on-air breakdown. She quickly accepted the job and quickly became a fan-favorite.
Gloria is often accused of wearing very risque outfits on-air, even for normal interviews. While she doesn't break any FCC rules, parents groups have often complained about her outfits being too "slutty" for the general audience. Fan-support, however, outnumber the complaints.
Gloria is perky and energetic. She doesn't seem to have an agenda as much as she likes getting the "feel" of the entertainment world. She relishes going to the movie and stage premieres and award shows because she not only gets to see the latest designer outfits, but she even gets to wear a few herself.
