"Foreclosure" is the name of a short-lived villain in the world of Champions Online.

History

"Foreclosure" was once a hero.

His name was Tony Atwell, a former serviceman who tried to use his military training and experience in dealing with insurgents in Afghanistan against the gangs of Millennium City.

For a brief time he went under the name "Gang-Breaker" and had some moderate success against the New Purple Gang.

It was at that point that he signed up with the Gold Standard Agency, supposedly to further enhance his reputation. Very little is known what happened to him at this point.

He would later appear in a different outfit under the name "Foreclosure". He took over City Hall and forced the city employees to flee into the mayor's panic room. He then used the police radio to announce that the panic room was rigged to either explode or else release deadly carbon monoxide gas to kill the people there unless Galatea Future arrive.

Galatea Future, who had recently returned to Millennium City after spending a year in seclusion, appeared and confronted Foreclosure. Foreclosure informed her that he was simply following orders and that she would have to kill him to save the hostages. He then tricked her into attacking him before surrendering.

After he was relieved of any additional weapons, he was taken to jail, where he experienced violent seizures before dying. A medical examination revealed to pressure-sensitive vials of slow poison in his chest that were ruptured in the provoked attack by Galatea Future.

Further details on this incident are still pending.
