DC Comics (originally "Detective Comics") is one of the largest mainstream comic book publishers today. Many of their characters and exploits became the inspiration for other comics.
DC Comics is also the publishers of DC Universe Online Legends, a comic series that provides a backstory to the events seen in the DC Universe Online MMO.
