Lady Templar is the name of a registered hero in the City of Heroes MMO.

She originally was a temporary disguise worn by Stevie Walker-Rodgers when she was forced to give up her role as Captain Paragonna. She was forced to resume that guise following the events in "Task Force Twilight".

Character History

Early Life

(See her entry as Captain Paragonna for details.)

Temporary Identity

Following the incident with the Awakened Division leader Dreadlaw concerning Daybright, Stevie was suspended from active duty in the Hero Shield Program. She was given administrative duties and tested regularly to make sure all of the biomed enhancements she took as Captain Paragonna were out of her system.

But she still wanted to make a difference out on the streets, even if she couldn't do so as Captain Paragonna. So, thanks to her friends in the Guardians of the Dawn, she was given a new hero identity and a new outfit complete with heavier armor and a light exo-skeleton to mimic her enhancements.

As far as the police department was concerned, Stevie Walker-Rodgers was a desk-bound officer. But her "sister", Melissa Walker, was now a street-fighting hero named Lady Templar.

This guise lasted until she was formally reinstated in the Hero Shield Program following the Shivan devastation of Galaxy City.

Powers and Abilities

Lady Templar's primary ability is Martial Arts. She is a skilled unarmed combatant, although she has had some firearms training through the Paragon City Police Department.

Her secondary ability is Willpower, although she does occasionally rely on enhanced biomed boosters.

She was given formal training in police tactics and procedures.

Personality

Lady Templar suffers from several traumatic incidents, including her most recent "retirement" at the hands of her fellow police officers. She has turned her trauma into anger, which has made her aggressive and sometimes very combative when she should not be.
