Comic History
City of Heroes
Horus first appeared in the Blue King Comics series as a war-weary veteran of the First Rikti Invasion that quite literally crashed into the apartment being rented by War Witch and Apex.
Eventually he realized that he was more than just a hero. He was also the human host to a symbiotic energy being called a Kheldian. The union transformed him into a powerful being with control over energy.
Guardians of the Dawn Spotlight
In Guardians of the Dawn Spotlight, it was revealed that Horus wasn't just a Peacebringer. He was also the first Peacebringer Redeemer on Earth, since his human body was killed in the Rikti Invasion. After his human host was destroyed, and he became simply his energy "squiddy" form, he would later guide the Kheldian Talmyia to the body of Sally Bright, who was dead but in a state of temporal stasis. The union transformed Talmyia and Bright into Daybright, the next Peacebringer Redeemer.
When Daybright's claim of the "Call of the Redeemer" was challenged by the Peacebringer extremist Dreadlaw, her friends in the Guardians of the Dawn superhero group asked the ghost of War Witch for help. Although dead, she was the only person who was still in touch with Horus.
Horus's sudden appearance validated Daybright's status as a Peacebringer Redeemer.
