Sothis

Sothis is the Sirian home world. Sothis is a large rocky planet twelve times the density of Earth with a methane atmosphere. The planet orbits far outside the normal Goldilocks zone of its home star, but remains warm due to the size of the planets molten core. Sirians can't breath Earths atmosphere and are nearly blind in full daylight, but are incredibly strong and their bare skin can easily withstand heavy weapons fire and conventional explosions.
