John Battle is a character in the world of Champions Online MMO.

John Battle is considered a "legacy hero" because of his connection to the Battlerock family line; a well-known Native American bloodline which was supposedly the inspiration for the "Lone Ranger" TV series.
His uncle was Colonel John Battlerock, an officer active with UNTIL for many years even after his retirement. His disappearance was one of the reasons why John himself moved to Millennium City. The other reason was as a favor for Xavier Cross, a friend of the family.
It didn't take long for John to set himself up as a hero in Millennium City. He dressed as a hero, played the role of a hero, and he even rode around on a star-spangled bike. He's made it clear that he is in Millennium City to stay.
And, if he has things his way, Millennium City wouldn't have to ask where Galatea Future is.
Powers and Abilities
His primary ability is Super-Strength. The limits of his ability has yet to be measured.
His secondary ability is Invulnerability. Again, the limits of this power have yet to be measured.
He can also use his strength to leap huge distances. However, he prefers to ride in his star-spangled patriotic sky-cycle to travel.

John Battle made his first appearance at the end of "Future's Guardian" #12 and is seen in action in Issue #13.
Contrary to what one may believe, John Battle is not the Champions counterpart to Battlerock X in the City of Heroes MMO. According to creator David 2, John Battle is the nephew of that universe's retired Colonel Battlerock.
