Bulldog Powers is a Welsh superhero and member of the legendary Powers family. He is a direct cousin of Lyon Powers and an adopted cousin to Galatea Powers and Furia Powers. He is also a member of the premiere European superhero group Dawn Patrol and holds an honorary membership in the Guardians of the Dawn hero group.
Character History
Bulldog Powers is a member of the legendary Powers Family in Wales. He is the biological cousin to Lyon Powers as well as the adopted cousin to Galatea Powers and Furia Powers.
Like many others in his family, Charles “Chuck” Powers knew he was destined for greatness in the United Kingdom. But with a superhero dynasty that is publically known, being a member of the Powers family also means coming across family members from the various villains that his relatives put away. That meant that Bulldog had to defend himself from retribution, and, boy, did he ever!
Chuck was always in fights. He wouldn’t start any of them, but he made sure that he finished them. While this would normally be a bad thing, most people knew who the Powers family were and why Chuck had to be in a fight, and why he would win them.
Putting him in private school helped him for his teenaged years, but only as long as school was in session. When he wasn’t learning, he was brawling. He would fight in pubs, he would fight in back alleys, he would fight in abandoned buildings and parking lots.
Eventually he needed a mentor that could reach him. The Celtic Brawler, a long-time friend of the family and a member of Dawn Patrol, handily took up the challenge. Finally, when he turned 18, Chuck was ready to join the Patrol. He didn’t even have to work hard on his code-name either. It was what he always saw himself as, a scrappy bulldog!
Powers and Abilities
Bulldog's primary ability is "Super Strength". Although this ability is limited to human levels, he is nonetheless a formidable brawler.
His secondary ability is super-reflexes. He's a skilled brawler, which means he learns to dodge and weave.
