This character is a hero in the world of Champions Online.

Ronin Omega is a self-described cosmic traveler.

It's an open description that is used to describe an otherwise very complicated and mysterious human.

Personal History

"Ronin Omega" is just a code-name. It means "the ultimate master-less warrior". In Japan, a "ronin" is a title of shame. But in other places, "Ronin" means "freelance", or someone not bound by obligation.

Here on Earth, "Ronin Omega" is linked to the name D.J. Matt. Very little is known about him other than he is, for all intents and purposes, human. He has a driver's license and a passport, but anything else about his personal life is sealed by U.N.T.I.L..

He doesn't really own a place as he uses one owned by other travelers. Aside from the clothes he wears and the equipment that he carries with him, he owns very little else.

Powers and Abilities

To accurately measure his abilities, one has to take into account not only his swordsmanship, but also his knowledge of the universe and the ins-and-outs that he can use to his advantage. Taking this into account, you can understand why his ability is described as being "The Unleashed".

Added to this are the two swords he carries with him. These are referred to as "Crimson Dragon's Blood" swords and were given to him as a gift by one of his instructors. These are special swords that were forged with metal dipped in dragon's blood. This gives him an edge when dealing with mystical adversaries. While otherwise adverse to magic itself, he has no qualms using magic-charged items if they have a practical use outside of the mystical realm.
