Better off Deadly is a demon - human hybrid.
Character History
Alawa was born somewhere in North America in the early 1800's. When she was a small girl, her family traveled west to claim a homestead. During the journey, they became trapped in a mountain pass by an avalanche during the harsh winter. Her parents kept her alive until they succumbed to starvation and cold. Alone and freezing, the demonic spirit of the Wendigo possessed her and consumed the flesh of her family.
Since then, Alawa has struggled with the demon within her and it's need to feed. Still possessing a human awareness, she directed the demon spirits cravings towards the wicked.
More than 200 years later during an encounter with the Paragon Junior Supers Academy, Alawa discovered that proximity to the entity known as Au Set calmed the demon within her with out the need to feed.
Alawa now spends most of her time guarding Au Set and exploring existence without the need to feeded on human flesh.
Powers and Abilities
Alawa is possessed by a Wendigo spirit granting her demonic abilities increasing her strength, speed and agility far beyond human norms.
Personality
Alawa is extremely aggressive and has no compunction against using lethal force in almost any situation. When enraged, only the influence of Au Set will calm the demon.
