Nighthawk is a former member of The Champions superhero group and currently a wanted vigilante. He left the Champions when the other heroes could no longer stomach the more violent nature that he began to use against criminals.
Unknown to everyone, Nighthawk is really Mark Whitaker, a successful computer programmer who used his wealth and inventive mind to create devices and vehicles to help in his crusade on crime.
