Character History

Much of Wrathstrike's past is being investigated. From information already gathered, it has been determined that he was the son of two career criminals who were shot down by police in Paragon City in the midst of committing a crime, and it happened in front of him.

Afterward, he supposedly was put in foster care, but was considered "too old" to be adopted. He reportedly had several run-ins with police as a child and as a teenager before he eventually found his way to the Rogue Isles.

Years later, he would make his mark in the criminal underworld as a super-powered enforcer, willing to aid in the release of hardened criminals, or to right a wrong committed in the Isles. He especially favored any assignment where he would be allowed to kill anyone with a badge.

The Rogue Island Police call him their worst nightmare, having lost a quarter of their ranks to him specifically.

Scorned By Fate

Early in his career, he made the "mistake" of joining the villain group known as Scorned By Fate. It pretty much was a group in name only. The only other member he found any kind of use was Atomic Genie. Other than time spent with her - mostly intimate - he kept to himself and used the group's resources for his own missions.

He wasn't happy to learn that the group was shut down, especially since he was relying on those resources for an assignment when it happened. He vowed to make the group's leader, Sad Nice Guy, pay for that act of neglect.

The Libra Order

At some point in 2015, he was approached by an agent of The Libra Order for membership. After his experience with the previous group, he was somewhat skeptical, but after a private meeting with an aspect of Libra himself, he agreed to join the Order.

His first assignment for the Order, however, was a lesion in frustration. He was initially tasked with retrieving BloodBlader from the Women's Wing of the Zigursky Correctional Facility, in which he eagerly prepared his usual extraction tools. Then, when he was inside the prison itself and just dozens of feet from her cell, Tainted Eve told him the mission was scrubbed and he was to return to the Isles. He balked at the order, but he had no choice but to obey.

This, it turned out, was his true test from Libra, to see if he could follow orders. Not long afterward, he was tasked to meet with Malcolm Rochspare, who was the one that previously cancelled his assignment. Again, Wrathstrike was put in a position where his loyalties would be questioned. In this case, to find out who threatened Rochspare while Paragon City was under attack from Destitution. It didn't take long for Wrathstrike to determine that the person in question was Atomic Genie. After rekindling their "friendship-with-benefits", he decided to give Rochspare just enough information to take the attention off Genie.

Powers and Abilities

Wrathstrike's primary ability is Electrical Melee He can generate electrical energy through his hands when he hits people.

His secondary ability is Fiery Aura. His costume emits flames that not only protect him from some harm, it also serves as a psychological weapons to his opponents.

Thanks to genetic boosters in his system, he can also leap pretty far.

Much of his costume is designed to augment his physical abilities, but he is also a skilled street fighter, honed by years of fighting, and also by a mind that thinks on how to disable and dismantle people.

Personality

Wrathstrike has a "friends with benefits" relationship with Atomic Genie, since the two previously were members of the villain group Scorned By Fate. According to Genie's account of their "friendship", he is very physical with her, and she says she often has a hard time sitting down afterward. She also complains that they never have their "time" in a bed. It is always on hard surfaces.

But she is the exception. Wrathstrike is otherwise very cold to other people. He cannot be seduced. He cannot be bribed. He only joined The Libra Order because he is "the best agent for the job", whatever that job is. He has developed a reputation in criminal circles that he will keep his word, no matter what.
