Kinetik is the name of the super-fast hero of Millennium City and member of the superhero group known as The Champions.
He is also the hardest-working hero you will ever know.
Don't believe me? He does more things while you're reading this very entry than most people will do in a whole day. Imagine what he does in just 24-hours!
Of course, even before he got his powers, Brendan Grant was a hard-working guy. He was always pushing himself to do more and to do it faster than anyone else. He multi-tasked before it became cool He was up at all times of the day and night pushing himself to get things done.
He had to, though, because he lost both his parents in the Battle of Detroit. He had to work harder than anyone else because he had to help raise his brother and sister by himself.
Instead of going to college, he ended up working for Dew Chemicals, where he quickly attracted the attention of the company's CEO. Luthor Beckett took Brendan under his wing and made him his apprentice.
Then one day, a fire broke out in one of the labs. Brendan was overcome by the toxic vapors. When he woke up in the hospital, he found out that the toxic chemicals mutated his body, making him super-fast.
With this speed, Brendan created a costume for himself, started calling himself Kinetik, and began doing more for the new Millennium City than anyone thought possible. It wasn't long before he became a member of The Champions.
If you think you see something for just a moment in Millennium City, it's probably not your imagination. It's probably Kinetik.
Powers and Abilities
As his name implies, Kinetik is super-fast. His body is in perpetual state of hyperactivity. That means he can run really fast, think fast, and do everything fast. He's good for taking on single villains, but he has a hard time dealing with groups, such as when the Qularr attacked.
Personality
Kinetik is a great guy, personally. He tries to please as many people as he can. His problem is that sometimes his accelerated body makes him hard to understand when he's talking.
