KC Emerson

Kennith "KC" Emerson is the long-standing General Manager of the Paragon News Network. Few people call him "Kenny". His friends call him "KC". Everyone else calls him either "Mister Emerson" or "Sir".

History

KC is Paragon City's version of Ted Turner. In the 1990's following the rise and fall of the Reichsman conflict, investors saw an opportunity to transform the emergency cable information service into an ongoing cable news provider that would rival those on the national level. KC, who then was the young station manager for WPGN radio, was hired to captain this new cable network.

KC fought hard to curb the trend of other news networks to focus on political fluff and scandal and instead directed the reporters to concentrate on the city's number one resource: the heroes.
