Splasher is an add-on program designed to overlay images and sound files over certain elements in the City of Heroes game.
Splasher can be used to replace the following in-game elements:
- Billboards
- Store Signs
- Graffiti
- Newspapers
- Protest Signs
- Whiteboard/corkboard
- Veteran's Reward Comic Cover posters
- Arachnos Recruiting posters
- Base monitor screens
- Base texture designs
- Teleport Beacon displays
- Pocket D music
- Boombox music
Important Notes
Not ALL elements can be replaced through Splasher. Most of the billboards/signs in the Rogue Isles are not affected by Splasher.
The changes made in Splasher can ONLY be seen by the computer using the program. They cannot be seen by other players unless they are using the program and have the same images in place.
According to the program designer, Splasher does NOT violate the game's terms of use because it does not modify the game program itself.
