Windham agreed, but only on the condition that his two surviving daughters - Faith and Katherine - would be rescued from Wales. Windham Powers was the son of the British superhero Skylord and the founder of the [[Powers Division]]. He was also the father of [[Furia Powers]].

=Family History=
Windham Powers is the son of Clayton Powers, who started his career during World War II as Skykid. After the war, Clayton ''(who later changed his hero name to "Skylord")'' married his longtime girlfriend and had several children. Most, it was discovered, had superhuman powers like their father and were all-too eager to follow in his footsteps. But one child, Windham, was disappointingly normal.

Windham was often forgotten, ignored, when compared to his more successful brothers and sisters. They lived up to the "Powers" family name. He couldn't.

But Windham vowed to make everyone regret that bigotry. He didn't have superpowers, but he was smart and resourceful. He learned all he could about superpowers and how to combat them. This kind of knowledge made him useful to people like [[Tyrant|Marcus Cole]].

Nobody really "knows" what happened next. All that anyone really knows is that Faith Powers decided to pay her father a visit at his office and found him sprawled out on the floor, dead.

An investigation from Praetor White concluded Windham Powers was murdered by the anarchist gang called the [[Destroyers]]. White became the new head of the Powers Division, while Faith Powers would become a new investigator and would later change her first name to Furia.
