He is the father of [[Lyon Powers]] and the late [[Welsh Fury]], and the adopted "father" of [[Galatea Powers]], not to mention the father and uncle of several other heroes serving in the [[Dawn Patrol]] or the United Nations [[Vanguard]].

=Family History=
Windham Powers is the son of Clayton Powers, who started his career during World War II as '''Skykid'''. After the war, Clayton ''(who later changed his hero name to "Skylord")'' married his longtime girlfriend and had several children. Most, it was discovered, had superhuman powers like their father and were all-too eager to follow in his footsteps. But one child, Windham, was surprisingly normal.

While most of the Powers family were busy saving the United Kingdom, Windham spent his time focusing his mind and body and sharpening his skills in the field of intelligence.
